Designing, implementing, and managing network security solutions to protect the organization’s networks from cyber threats.
Monitoring network security systems for signs of unauthorized access or security breaches.
Investigating security incidents and providing incident response and remediation.
Conducting security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and risks.
Developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and standards.
Collaborating with other IT teams to ensure that security measures are integrated into network infrastructure and systems.
Providing guidance and support to junior security operations engineers and analysts.
Keeping up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.
Participating in on-call rotations and responding to security incidents as needed.
Contributing to the development of security awareness and training programs for staff.

In-depth knowledge of network security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), VPNs, and secure access technologies.
Experience with network security best practices and industry standards.
Proficiency in configuring and managing security devices, such as firewalls, routers, switches, and VPN concentrators.
Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
Familiarity with security tools and technologies, such as SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), antivirus software, and endpoint security solutions.
Experience with network security assessments, audits, and compliance requirements (e.g., PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR).
Knowledge of encryption technologies and standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
