Developing and implementing data security policies, procedures, and standards.
Conducting regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities.
Designing and implementing security controls to protect data assets.
Monitoring and analyzing security incidents to identify threats and respond promptly.
Managing access control and identity management systems.
Providing guidance and support to the IT team and other departments on data security matters.
Ensuring compliance with relevant data protection regulations and standards.
Collaborating with stakeholders to address security requirements and concerns.
Keeping abreast of latest trends and developments in data security.
Training and educating staff on data security best practices.

In-depth knowledge of data security principles and best practices.
Experience with implementing and managing data security solutions.
Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS).
Strong understanding of cryptography and encryption techniques.
Proficiency in risk assessment and management.
Experience with security incident response and forensic investigations.
Knowledge of network security and secure network architecture.
Ability to conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments.
